Why Is It So Hard To Quit Procrastination and Overthinking?
Aug 5, 2026 · From the video description.
You know exactly what you should be doing. You could probably explain the path out better than the people who study it. And you’re still not doing it.
That space, between knowing what you should do and actually doing it, is what I call the misalignment gap, and it comes in six degrees of severity. In this video I walk you through all six, so you can figure out, honestly, which one you’re living in right now, what it’s quietly costing you, and why the usual fixes (more willpower, a new app, another 90-day challenge) only ever work for the guy at the shallow end.
We get into why it isn’t laziness or a lack of discipline, the negative feedback loop that walks a man from a bad week into a lost decade, the two kinds of men I see when the gap gets wide (the Builder and the Seeker), and an exercise I call the waiting room. If any of this lands, tell me which degree you’re sitting in down in the comments, I read every one. Peace.
